I am a writer, lawyer and father of two young daughters (4 and 1 year old).
My hope is that by introducing strong and interesting Asian characters into mainstream children's books, we can finally provide the opportunity for all children to enjoy a diverse array of unique characters that reflect the diversity of our country.
I'll periodically documenting my experiences with Little Ning Books as well as parenting on the blog.

All the Pepper Zhang illustrations are hand-drawn by the extremely talented artist, Trisha Hautea.
Trisha is an MAT graduate of Tufts University in affiliation with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Previously, Trisha received her BFA in Fine Arts and Art History from Tufts University.
